NEWS AND EVENTS
Please listen to on-air announcements about
CHR events, be they on the hospital campus, or Outside Broadcasts from local supermarkets, garden centres, museums etc.  We also put on special fund-raising events from time to time, and there's the annual Flag Day in May.
Look out for us at Outside Broadcasts: we might be at Sainsbury's, Chichester Garden Centre or some other venue.  If you'd like to pop some money in our collecting tins, please do!  You can ask us about our service and how you can help - there's lots to do, both behind the microphone, and behind the scenes!- but you don't have to wait until then, see the 'Join Us!' page.  We're looking-out for other venues, so if you can help, please contact us. If you'd like us to provide PA for your event, and perhaps provide commentaries, please get in touch.

We've recently been able to help The Medical Dogs Charity, Lavant House School, Donald Wilson House, and the Cat and Rabbit Rescue Centre with their special events, where some of our Presenters got face-painted as rabbits!  (There's a picture of this in the Gallery section).  At the Cat and Rabbit Rescue Centre, the OB van and crew were visited by CRRC's patron, the actress Sue Jameson, who left several male presenters quite smitten.  Sue has kindly recorded some items promoting CHR's request programmes, and these are currently being aired.

On Saturday 28th November 2015, CHR spent the day at Brick Kiln G.C, for the arrival of Father Christmas! The unfavourable weather didn't put off the crowds of children with their parents and CHR managed to raise the fantastic sum of £201.80! The G.C is family owned {Mum, Dad, Son and Daughter} and we were treated very well with tea's, coffee, biscuits and sweets freely available. We are all looking forward to returning again in 2016!
